Ever since Cesar has been big enough to get on the couch, he has loved to lay on the back and look out the window. At first I didn't mind, but when he started marking his territory on my cushions, I had to put an end to it.
Yesterday while I was working in the office, I realized it was way to quiet in the house. I knew Phil was outside with the landscape guys, but where were the dogs? I shut down my program and looked around the corner door, facing into the living room. There perched upon the back of the couch sat both boys. I wasn't even aware that Samson was able to get up there. He has never tried to before. When I saw him raise up and put his paws on the shears I realized they saw Daddy and that's why they were up there.
So I slipped back into the office and grabbed my camera. I just didn't have the heart to punish them, or even make them get down. I had already spread their "Cars Blanket" down last week, just in case they got up there and had an accident.
Sometimes you just got to go with the flow and take chances that everything will be alright. I got some good shots for my scrapbook, and they got to enjoy watching Daddy out the big windows.

Jess believe it or not Cesar's latest thing to do is play peek-a-boo with his paws over his eyes. Samson {the little one} loves to play bulldozer, that's all I know to call it. He puts his little face on the floor sideways and his rump in the air, then pushed himself all over the living room. They have been a hoot and are the life of the party all the time. -
