Tokoni Tokens. Ahh, the alliteration. Some of you may have noticed I do not give out tokens. While Tokoni has improved and expanded their token library, I still feel as though a comment is more personal and important. It probably comes from my old fashioned nature. Never send a sympathy card; always write a personal note. Cards are lazy and not enough. Such was my training.
But I am beginning to rethink this posture. I love getting tokens, and thank you all for those I have received. If this is so, then I should certainly be sharing the joy! So....my first token is one they don't have but I send to you all. It is peace. I wish it for each of you, the peace of mind and heart that comes from knowing who you are and where you belong in this world. The peace that comes from knowing that on this day you have done your best to love your fellow man. The peace that settles on your soul when you look around and see that the world is beautiful. The peace no one can steal because you know you are loved. I wish this for each of you, and ask you each to find a real token, some sort of talisman you can touch when you feel that peace slipping away. Touch it and remind yourself of how unique and wonderful you are, and how much you deserve all of life's blessings.
From now on I will be giving out tokens, both the Tokoni tokens, and the ones I think up myself.

OMG I can't stop laughing. I think the butter token would be very funny. And it's nice to see you too MF! I'm still getting back in the swing of things after teaching this summer. I promise to post some stories about that!
