I wanted to personally say thank you, for your song "She's With Me." I had not heard of it until this morning on the Mike and Juliet show. I have been a big fan of yours for quite some time (years... makes me feel OLD!!! haha). I have a daughter who just turned 17 on the 30th of March and she is mentally only about 1 1/2 years old. She is unable to walk or talk and is tube-fed through the stomach. She has an exceedingly rare chromosome abnormality called Mosaic Trisomy 19p, which 6 of her specialists at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO  have tried to find a match to to this.  As far as they know, she's the only one with this particular chromosome disorder world-wide. She's been through so many surgeries, nearly lost her 7 times now due to complications with either pneumonia or surgeries. She has cerebral palsy,  asthma, seizures, severe high myopia, dislocated hips, to name a few. I'm a single mom, to her and a 7 year old, who believes she is going on 17, and it is difficult, and some days can be trying... but she (and my little one) are my ultimate pride and joy in life. I used to ask that one question, "Why me?" But after a couple years, I figured out "why me"... because God knew I could handle the job of taking care of her properly and give her all that I could, which is everything that I have. People do stare, my little one even notices it, because in their eyes she's "not normal"... but to me, she's perfect. She's been a blessing in my life and has taught me more than anyone or anything else ever could have. She has such a contagious and infectious giggle/laugh about her and always so happy, always smiling.  She's my life!!!  Thank you so very much... it's such an inspirational song! Brought tears to my eyes and had goosebumps when I heard you sing that this morning.
