Story
I love Tokoni. I've already written about my addiction to it (Tokoni Rehab), but this is not about addiction, it's about love and appreciation.
I love to write, and always have. Writing gives me a creative outlet, or at least an escape route for all the thoughts in my head. Tokoni lets me put it out there, and magically have people give something back to me. It's an incredible exercise in give and take. I give, you take. You give, I take. Everybody wins.
The appreciation piece has to do with the people who write/read on Tokoni. Affectionately referred to as Tokos. I am impressed and humbled by such a group of inspiring, creative, thoughtful, clever, and intelligent writers in one place.
Recently I said to my daughter, "Don't let a kind thought go unspoken." I was in a Confucius sounding mood, I suppose. I rarely speak like that. But it fit our conversation.
So now I am taking my own advice. I think you are amazing people, and we are part of an amazing place, this Tokoni.
I thought you should know.
UPDATE: I wrote this in March. I am feeling even more inspired and more amazed by the writing and the people themselves on Tokoni. I am too lazy to write a new story of appreciation(I will eventually) so I'm re-issuing this one. For all the incredible writers/human beings on this site, I'm saying it again.

Hi, Julia'sMom: Way too cute. I find myself checking in , trying to keep up with all the wonderful stories, but tend to run out of time. Marylou and her hubby had a wonderful idea, and have frankly provided a fun and enjoyable venue to share. -
